Sometimes you wish Kerouac would just cut it out with the "and it was wonderful, karmic, infinity, everlasting joy, little birds on the windowpane" kind of stuff. But ultimately, this was a good read that has expanded my thinking about the present. I feel like I am now able to both feel more in touch with the "soundless void" and also get more of a sense of Kerouac's humorous cynicism every time I think about it.

My friend is like an insane traveler and she is like 15 or so i think, well way young, and I just feel the same way about traveling, I would like to do it more.
Personally I liked the drawn out words of Buddhism, to me it was like a staircase of thought.
