  “This theater piece by Oscar Wilde is hilarious. Here we have the battle of the sexes, the battle of the generations and class struggle rolled into one satirical comedy of manners. I first heard of this play while in secondary school, and first read it while in university… I say "first read it", because it has been one of those favourite little pieces to which I have returned quite often over the years. You must be light-hearted to enjoy it… but be ready to re-evaluate your social presuppositions as well. ”
