Didn’t Like It “I liked this book well enough, but it's somewhere between 2 and 3 stars for me. I felt that Bradbury's excitement was alternatingly contagious and annoying. “Comfort food for the creative person, especially the writer... with very little Zen, although the power of Zen pervades Bradbury's writing technique and mental processes. The book is a series of gorgeous essays and one chapter containing several psyche-revealing poems. Together they offer generous insights, autobiography, inspiration, and practical advice from an indisputable expert. ”

“The best books are the one which create energy inside you to do something, and this is one such book. The author successfully energizes the reader into performing simple things in life with passion, to re-create a world of imagination and magic. Every writer/prospective writer/diarist should read this.”

“There are some very good chapters - ones that relieve the stress that comes with "I think I want to write...something, but I don't know how to make it 'good.'" You can easily skip the chapters that don't directly apply to writing - like the one on Farenheit, as interesting as it is.”
