If you loved "The Other Boylen Girl," you will love this book as it is about the same time period and written in a similar though less descriptive style. You'll never believe it is the author's first go at fiction!

I visited London Tower last year and they pointed out the room where Jane Grey was kept and that she had only been queen for 9 days and I was always curious to find out more about her tragic story, so I was so excited when I came across this book at Target. I did find the book a tad bit tedious but very interesting. It was a fun way to read all the history between Henry and his wives to the point where Mary and then Elizabeth take the throne.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It put a different perspective on the story and made me realise what a tragic story Lady Jane Gray's was.

Loved it. There were too many points of view though. I read on another forum she wanted more 16 I believe. Thank god her editor told her no! Still, the story was very good and I enjoyed getting a novel about Jane Grey, who has so few novels written about her, but who is very interesting.
