This book begins with Nathan Wade talking about his summer trips to his Uncles farm. His father goes away to war so Nathan has to go away to his Uncles farm. Nathan has a cousin who's name is David. David is 33 years old and loves to draw & tinker with metal but doesn't like to work on his Dad's farm. David went to Yale college and graduated in 1776. He has a secret project he want's to do. the secret project is called Turtle. The Turtle has to do with the war. If you read this book you would learn about war & one person helping another & how sometimes you have to do things your afraid of. You would like this book if you like hard situations. Matthew D.
