Franklin can count forward and backward. He can zip zippers and button buttons. He can slide down a riverbank by himself. He can even sleep alone is his small, dark shell. And he's trying very hard to be the best player on his soccer team.
Franklin loved playing soccer, but he wasn't very good. The rest of his teammates weren't either. Finally, he discovers a way to use each of his teammates' talents. They practice very hard, and scored a goal in their next game. They didn't win, but it felt just as good as if they had.
