Charlie Bucket, a boy from a poor family, finds one of the hidden golden tickets which permits him into the factory. While there the four other children are involved in tramatic events such as falling in a chocolate river, turning into a blueberry, being taken away by squirrels, and one boy is transported through a chocolate TV. Charlie is the last child standing and he finds out that this whole process was a test by Willy Wonka and that when he is old enough the chocolate factory will be his. ”

It was all about 5 golden tickets in 5 of Willy Wonka's delicious chocolate bars. The 1st boy to get it was fat. The 2nd one was a girl who chewed gum all the time. The 3rd one was a greedy girl who wanted everything because her parents were rich. The 4th one was a boy who played video games ALL THE TIME NON-STOP. The 5th one was found by a Russian boy. But guess what, it was fake!!! So Charlie( the main character) had a chance to get it. And he did. He got it in a very interesting way. That's all I will tell you to not spoil the surprise. Believe me, the trip through the factory will blow your pants off!”

Charlie Bucket is a bright and kind young man, living with extended family in poverty. He wins a "golden ticket" to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. From here, all sorts of craziness ensues, as we travel through this crazy factory tour with Charlie and his grandpa. We meet rude and hideous characters, who Roald Dahl presents with great humor. Besides the enjoyable plot, the book is excellent for expanding a child's vocabulary. ”
