  • Billy: The main prtagonist, who befriend a girrafe, a pelican, and a monkey who own a window cleaning business.
  • Pelly: A talking pelican who befriends Billy. He wishes for fish, but barley is able to find anything bigger then sardines.
  • Giraffe: The giraffe also befriends Billy. The girrafe is always hungry, for this girrafe can only eat a rare purple flower, which are not near where the giraffe is.
  • Monkey: The monkey is another of the talking animals group. His job is to wash the windows.
  • Duke of Hampshire: A rich and famous duke who needs his windows cleaned. After the ladderless window cleaners save his house from a robbery, he gives them a home.
  • Duchess of Hampshire: The Duke's wife. Former opera singer.
  • The Cobra: A famous cat burglar.
