There's a reason why almost every one of his books is a movie. From Jackie Brown to Get Shorty. Because they've got charismatic anti-heroes and deep story lines that unfold quickly and deftly.

Oh and this is one of my only books I possess that is signed by the author.

Some funny parts, but none of the funniest stuff from the movie :( Not particularly impressed with the writing.

I know that Elmore is very popular, and I thought I'd try this even though it is not typically the type of book I'd pick up. I could not really get into the story.

Elmore Leonard is a master! I really like how he can create such believable characters.

Old Dutch really phoned it in on this one. The rap lyrics at the end earned it a second star just by virtue of how awful they are. I'm talking embarrasingly bad, even by seventy five year old white guy standards!
