What was the point of Poirot flirting with the 'plump' waitress - that was lost on me!

i couldn't get rid of novel until i get through it all. that is the way how agatha delight her novels and add her magic.
here is one of her best of best novels i've ever read, and it will be there for along time. every time Hercule Poirot appears in her novels will be charming, just like those series of young detective konan.

Agatha Christie is the best known mystery novelist of the 20th Century--and with good reason, for when it came to plots, truly fiendish plots, she could easily out-construct all competitors. She also had a knack for writing tongue-in-cheek, exhibiting a sly sense of humor for those sharp enough to catch it.

it is one of the most mind-boggling murder mysteries ever read by me...how cleverly has the queen of mysteries gone about this plot is a treat in itself and one can experience the essence of a killer mystery by reading this book...a must read book as the smallest point in this story put fwd by hastings at the beginning solves the entire mystery towards the end!!!!
