Incredible climax. Atypical Christie setting, good pace and a mind-bending climax. Must read for all fans of mystery.

Didn’t Like It

Why, 'O' why did I ever read this book. Agatha Christie sure has an ingenious way of building great and beautiful castles of dreams. My only qualm is that having done that for a while she grow tired, and in a child-like manner smashes the foundations of the whole edifice of thought. This book left me unsettled and unable to do anything useful for the rest of the day.

Agatha Christie is the best known mystery novelist of the 20th Century--and with good reason, for when it came to plots, truly fiendish plots, she could easily out-construct all competitors. She also had a knack for writing tongue-in-cheek, exhibiting a sly sense of humor for those sharp enough to catch it.
