- Sal: Jennings' bus driver at St. Michaels, he calls Jennings his son, he also went from orphanage to orphanage.
- Doggie: Jennings' stuffed dog that he got at the home of the Angels.
- Walter: Jennings' continuosly studying brother.
- Jennings: A boy,the main character, who goes from orphanage to foster home to home to orphanage again.

- Martha: The maid at a house of someone he goes to live with, and she become kind of his aunt, she calls him her baby.
