This was a comical story about one man and his intrepid trek across the universe with his best friend and a gang of Galactic misfits. The outrageousness of the writing in this book makes for a hilarious story that takes fiction to a whole new level. When you read it makes you feel as if you are in the book along with all the funny characters that take a part in this book.

I have never seen, and have no desire to see, the movie. The wordplay in the book is what makes it the jewel it is. A true modern masterpiece.
