First Kellerman/Delaware novel I tried. Good enough to hold me until the end, and to persuade me to try more.

I actually couldn't figure out who did it. The book was a little slow though.

Pretty interesting and enjoyable. First time i read a murder mystery with a psychiatrist as the major character.

Kellerman wrote a good story. One that I believe most will enjoy.

Alex Delaware is asked to consult on a homicide case. Pop psychologist author Hope Devane is stabbed under a tree in her upscale neighborhood. When the case becomes cold, it is handed off to gay detective Milo Sturgis. The list of possible suspects becomes large as the case is investigated by the Sturgis/Delaware team.

For a Delaware/Sturgis novel, this one is very S L O W and tedious. It is almost like Kellerman had a good idea, but lost interest somewhere in the process of writing the book. Thus, I lost interest as well

Kellerman is one of my favorite authors. I read this back when it was first published and found this one just a bit off. I don't remember why. It's good - just not the best of Kellerman's books. They can't all be perfect. :-)

I love Jonathan Kellerman's books. Was a great, thrilling, easy summer read!

It's not my favorite Kellerman, but it is worth reading.
