Didn’t Like It“I found this book to be the most cliched of Anne Bishop's and I was rather disappointed. I don't know what happened with this one. The characters seem to mirror those of The Black Jewels trilogy while only having different names. It was rather dull, even with such a climactic ending. “Wasn't one of Anne Bishop's best book. But it was pretty good. It sounded like it was the end of the series. If it was then it just didn't feel right. If it wasn't then I'm not sure where she'll go from here.”

Where Sebastian was completely appealing and overwhelmingly sexy, Belladonna is... fine. The ending, though, is heartbreaking in a way that makes you realize how much you've invested in Bishop's charaters, even if you have to make an effort to hang in there through the first half of the book.”

Only reason why it didnt get five stars is because I thought Sebastian would also be the narrator for this book but he wasnt. It was told through Belladonna's eyes (makes sense) and Sebatian's the kinda character you cant help but miss. Nevertheless, its a great read for fantasy lovers! Cant wait to read her other books.”

I really like Bishop to begin with, but in contrast to what else I've been reading lately, this was a truly enjoyable and entertaining read. I am wondering what might come next for this series.”

Belladonna is a far cry from the same enjoyment you'd receive reading Sebastian. I felt the author rushed things in the story and didn't completely understand how to organize her story.”
