I had read Peretti's previous works dealing with spiritual warfare when I was in high school. I was expecting something similar to those books when I started this one, but boy, was I in for a surprise! I read this book as well during my 1st trip to Mexico, and I did NOTHING else (besides the necessities) until this book was finished! I believe that the other 5 members on my team also read this book, including my team leader - and his first language is Spanish! He kept pestering me to tell him what would happen, but somehow, I kept my mouth shut!!

Chilling and thrilling! A page turner which delivers what it promises. I was hooked, reading the entire book in two evenings.

I haven't read this yet, but I have read another one of Frank Peretti's books and loved it so I'm going to read this one. My friend was reading this and told me it was even better than the book I read, Monster, and said I should read it. I said ok I'll read it soon, if not over summer vacation. I've heard a lot about it from her and I can't wait to read it.
