I did not find this book compelling and only finished it because my book club was reading it. The main character spends too much time on the wrong things and then spends too much time figuring out that she is doing the wrong things. The conclusion was also predictable.

This is one of Lisa's best novels, and all her work is outstanding. She's one of the best Christian fiction novelist out there. Quaker Summer is stirring, and life changing. You won't regret it.

Thanks, I was hoping so. I just bought it on Amazon. It should come along with two other books by the 25th. I'm getting excited.

    Is this a good read?

Is it worth the time? The "Book Details" make is sound like a very worthwhile read.
