Characters/People edit see section history

  • Tom Mackie: Tom is the main character in this book of his photos and photography notes and how-to. Tom sees the world in a different way, maybe he is vision impaired or part of his brain malfunctions- luckily for us! His photos of the ordinary views around us are startlingly different than what we see. This small town Iowa boy has embarked on a career that has taken him all over the world to satisfy his need to photograph the beauty he sees, and we get a different view through his eyes. His writing is quite decent and full of visual words that entrance nearly as well as his photos. His adventures are continuing and many. His many travel articles describing his trips and photos are lovely to read. Im waiting for his photo illustrated Ireland and Scotland travel on the cheap and camping spots. It will be lovely as well as informing and adventurous. Tom has a knack for meeting local characters and getting lost in spots his eye dinds interesting, and the reader benefits.
