This is L'Engle's book 4 of her four journals in her Crosswicks Journal memoir series. It deals with the period of her life when her dear husband of 40 years is dieing from cancer. She muses a lot about marriage, death, religion. She reminsces, as well. I read it before the first three. Now, I want to read them to learn more of her life journey/growth/thought patterns.

I don't think I hated it, but I read it in my 20's and found it boring.
