14 year old Terry Anders gets Abandoned by his parents at the same time. His dad has a kit car which he builds and drives illegally underage. He picks up a guy named Waylon that changes his life completely. He also meets other people during the book which are all mostly good people. At the end of yhe book, Terry , Waylon, and Wayne get into a fight with a bunch of cowboys. Terry and his friends win the fight but at the end, the cops come and Terry leaves in his car.....THE END!!!!!!!
