Brilliant. One of King's classics. Amazingly well written, a great psychological analysis of the main character, a page turner. Even the movie is not as bad as most of the other movies based on King's books. I actually think it's pretty good. But the book is still one thousand times better!

Nisareen - So Much To Read So Little Time

Best-selling novelist Paul Sheldon is on his way home from his Colorado hideaway after completing his latest book, when he crashes his car in a freak blizzard. Paul is critically injured, but is rescued by former nurse Annie Wilkes, Paul's "number one fan", who takes Paul back to her remote house in the mountains (without bothering to tell anybody). Unfortunately for Paul, Annie is also a headcase. When she discovers that Paul has killed off the heroine in her favorite novels, her reaction leaves Paul shattered (literally)...

It was spine tingling good. My mom had to yell at me to make me put it down! The book was very good especially the way that Steohen King worded it and made it so a guy was basically kiddnaped by a mad lady that is obssesed with him and wants him to write her a book.

Genuine psychological horror from the master, with all the macabre you could ask for in a book of this type. What's a pure bonus is the commentary produced throughout the book on the writing process, the relationship between writer and reader, and how some authors just might feel about those best-sellers we all love so much.

No supernatural thrills here, but all the suspense and terror you could take in real life. A classic in my opinion.
