While I did enjoy `BLING' by Erica Kennedy, I think that I was expecting something a little bit different. Everyone kept comparing Erica Kennedy's `BLING' to a Jackie Collins novel, however it was lacking some of the drama and a lot of the scandal of a novel by Collins. The story of Mimi Jean's rise to the top of the music industry and going from a small town girl from Toledo, to a Beyonnce-esque R & B star WAS a modern day Cinderella story...sort of, however, instead of turning into the bell...
