this was a good book but it was hard to follow. this man was having trouble sleeping and started walking up earlier and earlier untill he almost never sleep.”
“Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he awakens a little earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late night vigils and walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads. He witnesses two strange little men wandering the city under cover of night. He begins to suspect that these visions are something more than hallucinations brought about by sleep deprivation. Ralph and his friend, widow Lois Chasse, become enmeshed in events of cosmic significance.
People should rwead this book.Very interesting.

“honestly this should be another one of them 4 1/2 books because I ultimately ended up loving it but it was so slow through most of the book that I almost put it away, but when it picked up it was great....if you can trudge though the slowness than you'll appreciate what the book was trying to do”Charlie . wrote this review Monday, August 8, 2011. “another great book by STephen King.. loved the hero in this book!
“I would like to give this 2 1/2 stars. The primary characters are not the stereotypical young attractive types and the book tackles some weighty issues. I love King's epic novels usually, but I've found the this book needed some good editing. For me "Insomina" reminded me of that unnecessarily large burger--the kind with extra everything: extra slab of meat, cheese, and that starchy 3rd piece of bread. While this book was tasty at times, it still needed all the unnecessary stuff taken out--I was way too full by the final page.”Kelly A wrote this review Wednesday, July 27, 2011. “I had never read Stephen King, until I picked up this brilliant novel. I'll admit I was a little nervous about reading it. I'd seen the movies, but the books we're always daunting. Now that I finished it, I am convinced of King's genious in the area of horror fiction. While this book wasn't as scary as some of his others, it certainly was very nervewracking. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys suspense and dark humor.”Emily H wrote this review Friday, July 8, 2011. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
