“This was one of the more boring books of the series. There is action but it is at the end of the book. I would also reccomened this book to anyone who likes adventure books and has read the previous four books.”

“This was a lot of fun. I think a lot of it could've been edited down but this was the first time in the series that I really felt King had a decent idea of where he was going. ”

“This is the turning point when the story just got weird - the introduction of the Wolves had the potential for some serious fantasy writing but for some reason the muses that inspired King decided to become comical. While the link between our world and Roland's has always been there, but to use comic books and even Harry Potter to demonstrate this link even more was just silly. Still, battle dishes are cool.”

“I am not sure what to say about this book. I liked it, of course I liked it. I loved the story of Father Callhan for instance. The book was a bit slow sometimes, but still a great read. ”
