A lot of different short story styles and many genres; something for nearly all to enjoy. Made me want to go back and re-read his other short story collections!”

My favorite story is Dolan's Cadillac. Its about a construction worker who's wife is murdered by a rich snob with a cadillac. The man observes his every move and decides to take vengeance by burying him underground in his car. I liked this story because it was easy to relate to it. I can relate mydelf to Dolan because he didnt know the severe consequences of his actions and that happens to me way too often. This novel relates to the issue of people obsessed with revenge and dont learn from it. This novel relates to the movie the punisher. It is about a man obsessed with revenge and uses violence to achieve justice for himself. A powerful scene from the novel is the end when the main character is wondering about how Dolan is doing after he was buried alive and how he was pleased with himself. The main character was a very angry and weak person in the beginning, at the end he was pleased and confident. I think the author wanted me to think about the influence of one man on those around him. Other people would think that this was a pretty good story and that it had a satisfying ending. I would tell the main character that he did a good job and that he should go on to live a normal life. I would try to get the main character to assimilate with normal life and have fun in his spare time. The title, Dolan's Cadillac, is a fitting title because it is a constant reference to the hateful emotion in the narrators voice. I think that the main characters portrayal of a quiet, subtle revenge was something to think about. i will remember this book becase it ends with the main character boastfully thinking about desecrating the ground under which the cadillac was buried. I would change the fact that the main character never names himself. I would ask the author what made him write a book that wasnt based on a supernatural phenomenon.”
