Carson O'connor a young homicide detective is enjoying her job, but when her biggest case starts to unravel into one of the oldest and most deadly conspiracies it is up to her and her partner Michael Maddison to stop it at any cost.With the help of Deucalion a mysterious tatooed man once the Frankenstein monster they set out to understand the creator master of the so called new race, Victor Helios. Helios, former Dr.Frankenstein is creating a new race of humans in a secret laboritory at the former hospital, The Hands of Mercy. Other characters such as Randol six and Erika five add more perspectives to the same story and even add more to it. It's a well written book that doesn't have a dull moment.
