What an awesome idea to springboard off a great classic, bring it to modern day, and twist it demonstrating curruption and greed of power. Very enjoyable. Great collaboration between Kootnz and Anderson!

This is a truly incredible rewriting of the original Frankenstein monster story. The further I progressed into the book, the less inclination I had to put it down. Now that I have completed it, I find that I must pick up Book 2 and begin it right away.

A surprising take on an old tale. I was honestly expecting more of a retelling of the original, but Koontz really brought this story into the modern era. I didn't want to put the book down.

What a wonderful new spin on the whole Frankenstein genre! I love the way Koontz incorporates a classic, updates it for today and expands on Dr. Frankenstein's motives and personality. Good suspense and action with characters you love, hate and want to know.
