I read this because it got a thumbs up from a book review newspaper at the library. The story line is interesting. There are ghosts, a dead girl found in a swimming pool, earlier family stories that appear later in the story as flashbacks. It also has some nice twists that keep you guessing who the murderer is, however I tired of a few soap opera like drama scenes between the sisters. A good read.”
“a mystery for non-mystery lovers like me!”

My only peeve was that the beginning was not the easiest of reads, as the constant forward/backward flashing required much re-reading. But the ending? Ho. ly. cow. The Girl Who Stopped Swimming screams “Make me into a movie!” directly into the reader’s face. It’s just that great a book.
Rating: 4.5 out of 5”
“I picked this up at a cabin rental on the bluffs in Grafton, MO as a freebee. A quick read and I found it well written and original. ”
