A simpe, chic book about a teenage girl named Valerie whose parents are in the midst of a divorce and how it effects her. What she thinks is the worst thing that has ever happened to her ends up being the best thing! I thought that the writer did a very good job of writing the emotional stress and turmoil of a teen that has moved to another country and must get acclaimed, having been one of those girls myself. Her relationship with Georg is sweet. It makes for light, fun reading.
