This is the first of the series of the Knights Templar mysteries and the only one I read. Usaully I enjoy historical lit. but this one left me bored and and a bit irritated. The premise is a knight templar escapes the Friday 13th massacres and returns home, hiding his identity but becoming a medieval detective. The crime wasn't interesting, the templar/detective not believable- only the historical setting of this book got me through it.
