“In short, everyone who reads this book and follows its advice WILL be a millionaire in a matter of years. Many books are out there that provide the enthusiasm that makes the reader think that is true, but Phil Town not only talks the talk, but walks the walk, giving tangible and implementable financial advice. This strategy is not for everyone, it can be considered "risky" and give those who are faint of heart too much worry to make the profit that will come with the strategy worth it. Luckily, I am not of that variety and though I lack the capital today to implement this strategy fully, I will someday and because of my having read this book I have no doubt that too will be a millionaire.”

Considering what i said i would also add that all strategies mentioned in this book in todays stock markets don't work as we don't get such valuations as recommended by the author. But Definitely good read to start investing!”

I WOULD SAY GREAT BOOK FOR FIRST TIME INVESTOR :)) ”
“Only book I have found that gave rules for putting a dollar value on a company. I haven't made money with it YET. But it seemed to make since to me.”

This book goes against many of the tips we've been given our entire lives. Town does a good job of not just steering you AGAINST those myths, but providing solid reasoning behind debunking each.
This book is for the novice investor as Town does a lot of explaining of basic terms and concepts of both investing and economics. This was perfect for me, but more advanced investors might be bored. Town's strategy however is easy to grasp and very formulaic. The idea of "speculation" investing is thrown out the window, sticking to predictable businesses with a good MOS (margin of safety) as Town calls it.
I feel comfortable and ready to tackle my retirement investing after reading this book. I'm curious to know how others do it as well, so I'll be reading one of Jim Cramer's books, but I have no doubt that Town's strategy will be the one i'll be using.”
