A young American/Palestinian girl and her family move to israel. There is much upheaval as cultural adjustments are made. Even the liberal peaople, though, walk oneggshells aroudn the Arab-Jewish conflict, especially when Liyana find a Jewish boyfriend. The end was unsatisfying. Yes, they're makng their own samll contribution to peace by welcoming the Jewish boy, but the bigger problem will eat that up.
