This book would be a great read aloud if you have a classroom of kids that call each other names. The characters in this book are the misfits, outcasts. They fight for equality and to stop name calling in their school. Many events happen to bring awareness of this unnecessary evil that children do to each other. They find out that everyone has been labeled, some they like and others they don't. Often people are labeled for the way they look or even an event, hobby or sport. This is a great book to help bring kids around to learning to think before you call someone a name.
