17 year old becky martin is thrilled to finally be headed to college this upcoming fall! During the summer she plans on continuing her comedy scenes with her best friend, Abby. Living in San Fransico makes being a stand-up comedy very popular. Many comics try to come in and get a spot, but only few are granted.

One of them is Kip, now kip is very attractive and handsome guy. When Becky and Kip meet one night in a club Becky is immediately drawn to his good looks and persoality. Soon enough Kip shows interest in Becky as well and in no time they become bf & gf. Kip and Becky create a very interwined relationship. Kip constantly demands that they spend together. But with Becky's busy schedule she may just get a little more than she bargained for from Kip..

This book was about a girl who is a stand up comic and falls in love with a guy she meets while performing. Since she doesn't have many boyfriends, she falls head over heels for this boy. She spends all of her time with him and every waking minute talking to him. When the relationship turns ugly and violent, she does not know how to get out. She still loves him but does not know what to do about the situation. At first she lets it go because she still has feelings for him, but once she breaks up with him she feels bad and comes crawling back to him. That is when things turn really ugly and she had to wait until the worst possible situation in order to realize how bad things really were. This book was enjoyable but it was a little boring. It was kind of sappy but i liked how it could be relatable to someone our age.

Fault line is about a teenager that does stand up as an extra curricular at a comedy club, at the comedy club she meets a guy that she thinks is amazing. They start to hang out outside the club then they start to go out. She is overwhelmed from this, but she doesn’t know that her lover is more aggressive and jealous then he looks. This book is full of suspense, happiness, tragedy, and has a great moral. I would recommend this book for anyone.

This story is about a young women named Becky, who love stand-up comedy and meets this guy who also does comedy. They end up falling for each other and he changes her life in a terrible way. At first it was love but then the love grew to strong and her boyfriend got abusive and jealous. I would recommend this too all teenagers even young adults. It is an awesome book! :)

This book is set in San Francisco and involves a small group of high school students who want to make it as stand-up comics. Readers get a good idea of what it's like to wait in the wings for a turn at the microphone.

This book is very good. It is one of my favorite books so far. I would definitely read it again, it is one of those books that you don't want to put down. I recommend this book to mainly girls though.
