“This book is great so far. Most of Jerry Spinelli's books i never finished. They were all really boring and i didnt care for them. I believe i like this book because i like most books about Nazi times and the holocaust. "Stopthief" is a young boy who doesnt understand that he is a gypsie and that the booted men/soldiers dont like him. He actually wants to be one of the jack boots and as soon as he says it the older jew hes with smacks him. Pretty amusing so far.”

“I bought this book about two year ago when I was 11 years old and I got bored of the book so for two years the book stayed on my book shelf and I paid un attenion to it. When summer started I was watching Tv wiht my friend and she had fallen asleep. I was tried of watching Tv so I went to my book shelf and grabed the book off and started reading. I had gone though 100 pages before iI went to bed. I just finished the book about 5 minutes ago! WOOT WOOT! I have to say this book is for older people that can understand it, I am 13 and I read it but some parts I didn't get but other than that I LOVED IT! But whatever happened to Uri?”
