Characters/People edit see section history

  • Cassandra Dell Winston: The main character in the story. She ends up marring one of her father's pupils, ( who is a doctor ) and moving west. She later becomes Cassandra Dell Smith. She's a very strong character and I loved learning about her story.
  • Samuel Smith: Cassandra's husband. He was a pupil of her father's. He goes west to aid the people of his hometown, Jaret. As a boy, he promised his dying mother that he would help the people of Jaret when he was older, since he could not help her then. I just love his character, he's such a kind doctor.
