“Maniac Magee is a fictional story about a orphan whos parents died in a famous bus crash. He went to live with uncle and aunt, but ran away because of their hatred for eachother. He was alone now trying to find a house for himself to live in. He accomplished many feats along the way like untangeling the famous cobble's knot. I would definetaly reccommend this book to others and give it a five star”

“Jefferey's parents die at the beginning of the story and he moves in with his aunt and uncle. The two bicker so much Jeffery runs away. Eventually, Jefferey is homeless and friendless. Throughout the story, he changes the town's way of thinking. The book covers many more events that go on on Jeffery's life, but in the end, he is accepted by the black and whites and has a family/home in the end, with Amanda's family.”
