Great book. I was delightfully surprised. Elizabeth's Berg's writing is beautiful and I really felt for the main characters--for all the characters, actually. I cried. I really did. That, in and of itself, speaks volumes!

This book is written in kind of basic straight forward writing. Maybe it's because I'm a nurse and have dealt with the medical stuff too much and in a too detailed way. I had trouble getting through it. I find that it really depends on what is going on in my life as to how I perceive a book. Not a good time in my life for it now I guess.

How does this book compare to "Open House"? Are there any other Elizabeth Berg books that are "must reads"?
