“the stephen r. lawhead cycle. fun, fast paced, real characters. basically follows the traditional stories and character relationships, but a lot of liberties too. i don't know if the liberties are all that necessary, but they were fun and drove the story well. i would recommend it as good recreational reading, but if you want to get a good handle on the legends themselves, don't start here. try marion zimmer bradley's 'mists of avalon' or mary stewart's ' the crystal cave' series.”
