I enjoyed these books but they weren't my favorite Lawhead series. The way that the Celtic history was woven into the story and the depiction of another land (which effects the spirituality of our own world) was intriguing. However, I found some of the attempts to meld the ideas of Christianity and the substance of Celtic pagan religion a bit distrubing at times. And while all religions (as well as all believable lies) contain fragments of truth, so that you can see shadows of the true God...
