Wonderful book - funny and thhought provoking. I liked its balanced approach. It's not really about Americans, or not just Americans, anyhow. It's more about the human condition where we tend to do almost as much harm when we try to help as when we refuse to help. "Is be or is be not, is be one big damn puzzler"
