  • "the bomb": literal: 1. an incendiary device possessing various levels of damage and destruction. figurative: 1. something or someone held in high esteem or value.
  • "sand": literal: 1. loose pieces of often silicon-based particles that comprise much of the earth's crust.figurative: 1. guts, determination, or willpower.
  • baggage: literal: 1. often portable containers for clothes, gear, etc.figurative: 1. someone or something presenting a nuisance or trouble.
  • dancing with the train: To take ones well-being into jeopardy by foolish words or deeds.
