Although it was predictable at times,I enjoyed this.I loved the fantasy aspect of it & thought those parts were handled well.I also enjoyed the way Simon & Meg's relationship developed, even if the sex felt a bit rushed at the end.At times I felt like the author was trying to accomplish too much, running in too many directions, but when the focus returned to Simon & Meg it was a very pleasant read, with subtle humor throughout the book.
