A complete guide to a Japanese Zen that is a pragmatic but still very traditional mixture of the main sects. Written by the official correspndent for the Neurenberg Trials and the International Military Tribunal for the Far East in Tokyo, who returned to Japan and became a Zen master.     The importance of this book is simply that it documents cases of enlightenment in the zen tradition in modern times. So many people think that only people who lived long ago were enlightened, but there are many cases in our times, if the student is sincere, they will find them.
