The Birding Bunch
Prior to her death, she fought hard to keep dove hunting out of Iowa. She succeeded and this remained true until the publication of this book twelve years later. Sadly, regretfully, the governor of this state pushed it into law in 2011. This changed my opinion of any political party and of hunters in general. The hunters view these birds as target practice for their growing offspring. Will Mourning Doves go the way of the Passenger Pigeon?
