I've been reading Spider-Man on and off since I was a child. Slott knows how to write a classic, yet timely, Spider-Man story. The return of the Hobgoblin is great to see and I thoroughly enjoyed the twists in this collection of stories. The collection fails to get the full 5 stars because of the artwork. While it is generally fine, there were too many occasions where I struggled to grasp what I was supposed to be seeing. Faces also tend to be a mixed bag -some look believable and others were either half completed (because they're further in the background) or too cartoony. On the plus side, the Hobgoblin looks as he should -frightening and more than a little disturbed.
