“Edwards has done it yet again! He takes you into his account of the birth of Christ and gives you a believable view from the point of view from the Angels and Mary and Joseph. You find yourself sympathising with both Mary and Joseph about what is happening and their individual reaction to being the parents of the Messiah. How he portrays the relationship between Mary and Joseph is pretty much how I would expect them to be.
