If the thought of why the Eastern Europe Bogomils sticked to monarchian dualism while their Western Europe cousins the Cathars embrassed a radical dualism keeps you awake at night, then this book is for you. A ten minutes reading before going to bed will guarantee a good night sleep. It is not as big a book to read as it seems by the way. Out of its nearly 500 pages, a third is for the notes only.
