I...am glad Elisa fired her nurse. I miss Humberto! I like Hector, and wish Elisa would have just told him she was going to the zafira. I liked the action and the sea storm. I especially loved the image of the cave, devoid of its living sacrifice, sucking the surrounding hillside into itself like a blackhole. I want to know what happens with Elisa and Hector, what the true history of their world is, what the Inviernos know, how the prophecy ends, and whether Elisa's people ever see the strong, capable leader Elisa is.
I eagerly await the next book!”
