I have laughed out loud reading this book. Like her other book Kiran Desai has managed to show us a little bit of Indian life and make it very funny. This is a very fast read compared to her other and I think the best of her books to start with.I was not even sure if she was Indian and then my husband said he is sure there was an Indian Prime Minister Desai. So I concluded she is another brilliant Indian writer.

Quite a letdown from Kiran Desai's other books. Could still make for an interesting read, depending on how you look at it!
